On Monday, Virat took to his Instagram and announced that he and his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a baby girl in Mumbai. Virat Kohli expressed that it is a feeling beyond ‘blessed’. He wrote:
“We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.

Ever since then the couple is receiving congratulatory messages and blessings from fans, celebrities, and cricketers around the world.
As per a news portal named ‘Peeping Moon’, the couple have already named their newly born and the name is beautiful for many reasons. The couple has named the baby Anvi, which is a combination of both their names. In Sanskrit, Anvi is one of the names of Goddess Mahalaxmi. Anvi also denotes someone who is the Goddess of the Forest.
Meanwhile, another report states that Baba Anant Maharaj will name the new-born daughter of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that the name of Maharaja Anant has sprung up regarding a decision in this couple’s life.
