Jadeja, who captained Chennai Super Kings in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, stepped down as the captain after his team continued to underperform in the season. He was replaced by MS Dhoni, who had earlier relinquished the job before the start of the season.
Jadeja played only 2 games under Dhoni’s captaincy before he was ruled out of the IPL 2022 season because of an injury. Jadeja made his return to competitive cricket in the ongoing England tour.

More recently, Jadeja deleted all pictures related to CSK from his Instagram handle, which further fueled the fire and led to rumors regarding the rift between the franchise and the all-rounder. Recently, Jadeja shared a picture of himself in the Indian jersey, which sparked a massive debate on social media regarding his future with the Chennai-based franchise.
Actually, it was the caption of the image, which got fans all charged up. Sharing the picture in Team India’s jersey, Ravindra Jadeja wrote: “Blue addiction,”

Following this, fans of Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings started fighting with each other. While some said that he looks good in blue, others welcomed him to Mumbai Indians. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings fans also commented as they said that they wanted to see their star player back in the yellow jersey.
