Was there something brewing up between star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and England wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor in the past? Well, their Twitter conversation from 2014 indicates so.
Recently, netizens on Twitter have dug up some interesting tweets from Sarah Taylor sent out in 2014 in which she has tagged Jadeja in many of her tweets; apparently, Jadeja was able to text her on Twitter but she was unable to reply via messages. So she tagged her in tweets that were open to the public.
So, there are a series of tweets from Sarah Taylor where she is explaining to Jadeja that he has to follow her back in order for her to text him. Then she’s inviting him to pool the next morning; a meet up the next night of this tweet; she also thanked Jadeja for perhaps a compliment he’d have given her.
Here are the tweets from Sarah Taylor that has got fans linking her up with Ravindra Jadeja:

Seems like both of them couldn’t take much beyond this. Ravindra Jadeja got married in 2016 to Riva Solanki. The southpaw has become arguably the best all-rounder in the world currently and is one of the first names on India’s teamsheets – no matter the conditions.
Talking about Sarah Taylor, the talented wicket-keeper, one of the best to have played the game, retired from international cricket in 2019 aged 30 amid her battle with a long-term anxiety issue. She did though make her return as a player in the women’s Hundred last year, and has been part of broadcasting and also was an assistant and wicket-keeping coach in a couple of leagues.
She had made her England debut as a 17-year-old in 2006 and went on to make 226 appearances recording a total of 6,533 international runs, and was part of two World Cups winning and one T20 World Cup-winning side. Her tally of 232 international dismissals behind the stumps across formats is a record in women’s cricket.
