Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in IPL history standing at the top of the list ahead of players like Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni. He owns several IPL records to his name. Be it scoring the most number of centuries in one season or aggregating the maximum number of runs in one season, Kohli holds all the top records.
He has been in the epitome of consistency in this league yet the prestigious IPL trophy has alluded him over the years. Kohli has never won a major tournament however, no one can deny the fact that none of the bowlers want to bowl to him in world cricket. Here’s a look at his individual score against every IPL team in the history of the tournament.
Chennai Super Kings – 73:
During the final phases of IPL 2014, Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore battled the Chennai Super Kings. RCB did not get off to a good start as they slumped to 33-3. Kohli came out to bat at number 4 and registered his highest score against Chennai, scoring 73 runs off 49 balls. He hit 2 fours and 5 sixes however, Chennai won that match by 8 wickets.
Delhi Capitals – 99:
Before scoring 4 hundreds in one IPL, Kohli suffered from bad luck in terms of scoring a hundred. During IPL 2013, he once got run out when he was on 99. He hit 10 fours and 4 maximums in that knock and the Bangalore-based franchise won that match by 4 runs.
Kings XI Punjab – 113:
An innings that an IPL fan can never ever forget. Virat Kohli came out to bat with stitches on his left hand at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in IPL 2016. He forgot his pain and concentrated on his job to record his best ever IPL score. He hit 113 runs in a 15-overs innings to guarantee Bangalore a mammoth win.
Kolkata Knight Riders – 100:

Mumbai Indians – 92*:
One of the few instances when the RCB skipper remained unbeaten in a run chase and his team still lost the match, Kohli achieved his best score of 92 against Mumbai Indians in 2018. Batting first, RR could score only 130 runs in their 20 overs. Kohli hit a 46-ball 62 to guide his team to a comfortable win.
