“Humari Bhabhi Sara Bhabhi Jaisi Ho” Indore Crowd Teased Shubman Gill

India completed another home series victory as they defeated New Zealand 3-0 in the ODI series, following it up from ODI and T20I series wins over Sri Lanka earlier this month. The last time India lost a home series was way back in March 2019, to Australia.

Shubman Gill was the Man of the Series for his 360 runs in 3 innings, with one double hundred and one century. Shardul Thakur was named the Player of the Match in Indore, for his all-round performance: 25(17) with the bat and a 3-wicket haul with the ball.

Shubman Gill has had a bumper January month in ODI cricket where in 6 ODIs, the right-hander has cemented his place as Rohit’s opening partner. Against Sri Lanka, he recorded scores of 70(60) and 116(97), and then the 23-year-old was at his best vs New Zealand with 208(149), 40*(53), and 112(78), and bagging the Man of the Series award.

Shubman Gill is reportedly dating Sara Ali Khan

Gill has also been in the news for his off-field activities, wherein he had reportedly been in touch with Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Sachin Tendulkar, before dating Sara Ali Khan, the famous bollywood actress and the daughter of Saif Ali Khan. While Gill’s interactions with Sara Tendulkar had been seen only on social media, he’s been seen going out a couple of times with Sara Ali Khan.

The Indore crowd didn’t miss this golden chance to tease Shubman Gill in the name of “Sara Bhabhi”. During New Zealand’s innings, when Shubman Gill was fielding at the boundary line, the charged-up Indore crowd was shouting “Hamare bhabhi kaisi ho? Sara bhabhi jaisi ho!”

Even Virat Kohli seemed to have enjoyed this chanting from the Indore public and did some gestured which added fire to the crowd. Gill, meanwhile, could perhaps only smile shyly.

The video of this was recorded by a fan and went viral on social media in quick time.
