India’s 16-year-old batting sensation, Shafali Verma has become the talk of the town after she attained the number one ranking in the ICC T20I rankings for batswomen.

Shafali Verma has wreaked havoc in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as she has single-handedly decimated the opposition bowling attacks. Shefali has played a major role in the Indian team’s success as she has provided the Harmanpreet Kaur-led outfit with solid starts in all the matches.

Later they registered victories over Bangladesh Women, New Zealand Women and Sri Lanka Women to top group A and enter the semifinals. They are slated to play the first semifinal of the World Cup against England Women tomorrow.

Shefali Varma has not only scored runs for the Women in Blue but she has done it at a very quick rate. The opposition bowlers have not been able to stop her onslaught as each and every team has bowed down to the big-hitting batswoman.

Even ICC’s official social media handles seem to have become a huge fan of the Indian women’s cricketer as the 16-year-old has drawn a lot of eyes to the television.
