The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was unveiled, featuring the first match on June 1 and the final on June 29 in Barbados. India is set to face Pakistan in New York on June 9. The tournament will utilize three venues in the USA and six in the Caribbean, with groups and fixtures for the ninth edition confirmed on January 5.
Out of the 20 teams, 10 will kick off the 29-day ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA. Sixteen matches are set to take place in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, including the much-anticipated India-Pakistan showdown at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on June 9. The Caribbean will host 41 matches across six islands, with semifinals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, and the championship match is slated for Barbados.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will kick off on June 1, featuring co-hosts USA facing arch-rival Canada. On the second day of group play, fellow hosts the West Indies will play against Papua New Guinea in Guyana.
