The Indian cricket team is all set to take on Australia in the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is scheduled to begin on February 9th. The high-octane series will kick off in Nagpur and will end in Ahmedabad. Both sides have already started gearing up for the series.

Meanwhile, a week before the start of the series, veteran Indian keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik shared a cryptic tweet which has left everyone confused. Dinesh Karthik, who has been missing from the Indian side since the 2022 T20 World Cup, dropped a big hint on his comeback as he claimed that he is going to make his Test return against Australia.

Will DK replace Rishabh Pant For Australia Series?

Well, Dinesh Karthik isn’t going to play for Team India again. The senior keeper-batter will be making his ‘home’ commentary debut in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Karthik had earlier commentated during the India-England white-ball series but from his home in 2021. In June, he traveled to the UK and was in the commentary box for all the games. He also shared his insights during The Hundred. However, he is yet to perform the commentator’s role in India and he is now all set to make his commentary debut against Australia in the upcoming 4-match Test series.
