Indian keeper-batter Sanju Samson has been in the mix of a national team call-up lately but he didn’t find a place in the Indian cricket team squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia.
The BCCI announced a 17-man squad for the 3-match ODI series against Australia preceding the World Cup. Surprisingly, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced two different teams for the ODI series against Australia. KL Rahul will lead the Indian team in the first two games in the absence of Rohit with Ravindra Jadeja being his deputy.
While there were no major surprises in India’s squad for the 3 ODI match series against Australia, Sanju Samson, the backup keeper-batter, who traveled to Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup was not picked in the Indian squad.
Sanju getting snubbed again came out as a big surprise to the fans as big names like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were rested for the series ahead of the Cricket World Cup 2023. On the other hand, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Prasidh Krishna were included despite the former having Asian Games commitments.
Sanju Samson Gave A Cryptic Reply To Team India Selectors
