Ind vs Aus: Team India once again managed to put up a great show on Day 3 of the ongoing second Test match against Australia at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The amazing performance of Indian bowlers has helped the team settle into the driver’s seat as Australia finished the day at 6/133 and an overall lead of 2 runs.
Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja resumed the day on 276/5 with an overall lead of 82 runs. The duo started off well however a horrible mix-up led to Rahane’s run-out. He was given out for 112 runs. Soon, Jadeja also departed off Pat Cummins ball.
Post Jadeja’s wicket, the Indian wickets collapsed in quick successions. Team India ended up with a lead of 131 runs.
Trailing by 131 runs, the Australian cricket team struggled to give a good start to the game as their opener Joe Burns was dismissed early by Umesh Yadav. However, India suffered a huge blow after Umesh Yadav was injured and had to leave the field.
Matthew Wade and Marnus Labuschagne brought momentum for their team. Luck seemed to be on Australia’s side as a close LBW call on the bowling of Mohammed Siraj turned out to be in favor of the Aussies.
In a rare moment, Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Steve Smith and left him shocked after he was beaten for pace. Later Ravindra Jadeja broke the 27-run stand of Matthew Wade and Travis Head by dismissing Wade with quick delivery. Australians soon dropped to 5/98 and they could have dismissed Cummins but Pant dropped a catch.
Meanwhile, social media was flooded with amazing reactions from twitterati on the amazing performance of team India’s bowlers on Day 3. From cricketers to fans, everyone lauded the amazing work done by the Indian bowlers. There were many who came up with hilarious memes to express their thoughts on the same.

That never happens! Steve Smith bowled leg stump! Credit to Bumrah/Ashwin bowling brilliantly here. @FoxCricket #AUSVIND

Neutralise Smith, and this doesn’t look like much of a batting line-up. #INDvAUS

The only thing that Rahane hasn’t done right in this Test is not calling it right at the toss…..and that too turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Bowling changes

Paine given out caught behind via snicko and walks off shaking his head. Maybe he wants neutral umpires back too! #AusvInd

You always think Smith could get out like that, bowled behind the legs, but he never does. Finally Bumrah has done it #INDvsAUS
