Rajat Patidar Failed To Perform Once Again
Once again, Rajat Patidar couldn’t perform well and failed to make an impact. He came to bat after Shubman Gill got out for 38 runs in the second session. Despite hopes for improvement, he continued his streak of low scores in the ongoing match.
Shoaib Bashir delivered a ball that skidded through, catching Rajat Patidar off guard as he attempted to defend on the back foot. Patidar was deceived by the sharp spin and beaten on the inside edge. Despite opting for a review, the decision remained unchanged. This marked another instance of Patidar falling early in his innings. In the 35th over, Shoaib Bashir dismissed him lbw, contributing to Patidar’s string of low scores for the Indian cricket team in Test matches.
Rajat Patidar scored only 17 runs from 42 balls. Although he seemed promising and played some impressive shots, it ended up being another disappointing Test match for him. This might be his final chance to prove himself in this Test. He will have one more chance to bat, but it’s probable that KL Rahul will replace him in the next match.
