Indian players were given only sandwiches. The Indian team also told the ICC that the food served after the practice session in Sydney was cold and not good.
The Indian team will not take part in the practice session on Wednesday (26 October). The practice ground has been given 42 km away from the hotel where Team India is staying. The team has refused to go there.

The Indian cricket team on Tuesday (October 25) became very angry after seeing the food menu after the practice session. Some members of the Indian cricket team decided to return meals to their hotel rooms. The food menu after the practice session is almost the same for all the teams. A BCCI official with knowledge of the matter said, “It is not like a boycott… Some players took fruit but everyone wanted to have lunch and so they ate on their way back to the hotel.”
