IND vs NZ: Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI For 2nd ODI Between India vs New Zealand

India won the T20I series by 1-0 (though it would easily have been 1-1 had Mitchell Santner not mis-fielded and given an extra run to India before rain ended play), but then went down emphatically to New Zealand in the first ODI.

The hosts won the first ODI by 7 wickets and 17 balls remaining in Auckland as both teams kick-started their preparations for the 2023 ODI World Cup.

Chasing a par sizeable target of 307, New Zealand was in a pickle at 88/3 before Williamson and Latham joined hands to produce a record-breaking partnership of 221* runs from 165 balls.

Man of the Match Tom Latham ransacked 145 unbeaten runs from 104 balls, stroking 19 fours and 5 sixes in his terrifically paced innings, while Kane Williamson played a typical Kane Williamson knock, anchoring from his end and remained not out on 94 from 98 balls with the help of 7 fours and a six.

Indian bowlers looked bereft of any plans, and whatever they had were just plain poor, as Latham and Williamson’s partnership grew.

India will look to bounce back in the second ODI, to be played on Sunday in Hamilton.

Venue: Seddon Park, Hamilton

India vs New Zealand 2nd ODI Predicted playing XIs:

James Neesham missed the 1st ODI due to a niggle. If he is fit, he is likely to replace Daryl Mitchell.

New Zealand predicted XI:

Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Kane Williamson (c), Tom Latham (wk), Daryl Mitchell/Neesham, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Adam Milne, Matt Henry, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson

Captain Shikhar Dhawan was left wanting for more bowling options as Latham and Williamson’s partnership surged against a five-man Indian bowling attack. Deepak Hooda, the batsman who can bowl off-spin, could be included in the line-up for the 2nd ODI, in place of either of Sanju Samson or Suryakumar Yadav. Deepak Chahar can also replace the expensive Shardul Thakur.

India predicted XI:

Shikhar Dhawan (c), Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson/Deepak Hooda, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur/Deepak Chahar, Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal

IND vs NZ Match Pitch Report for 2nd ODI:

The surface in Seddon Park, Hamilton, is known to be batting-friendly and boundaries are again going to be the batsman’s aid. However, there will also be helpful for fast bowlers early on and spinners would come into the game in the second innings as the surface wears on.

Wicketkeeper: Tom Latham, Devon Conway

Batsman: Kane Williamson (vc), Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav
