The Indian cricket team defeated their arch-rival Pakistan by 4 wickets to win their opening game of the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Former Indian captain and batting maestro Virat Kohli played a crucial knock of an unbeaten 82 runs off 53 balls to help the Indian cricket team win this important game. It won’t be wrong to say that Virat Kohli gave the best gift to Indian cricket fans across the world as his sensational knock not just helped the Indian side defeat Pakistan but it also set the tone and mood for the festival of lights – Diwali.
On a pitch where the top-order and middle-order batsmen failed badly and went back into the hut, Virat stood tall and combined with Hardik Pandya to propel India to a famous win.
