IND vs SA: List Of Players Who Have Been Ruled Out Due To Injuries

IND vs SA 2021-22: Indian cricketers are presently in quarantine for the tour of South Africa and they will leave for the Rainbow nation after the completion of the quarantine period.

But, Team India’s preparations have been jolted massively by injuries to key players and the list of injured players keeps increasing every passing day, it seems. When Team India’s squad was announced for the Test series, many key players missed out due to injuries and the selectors had to bring in suitable replacements to fill the spots.

Former Indian cricketer and well-known commentator Aakash Chopra also expressed his concern over the number of injuries, ahead of India’s tour of South Africa, on his Youtube Channel.

“Ravindra Jadeja unavailable, Axar Patel unavailable, Rahul Chahar unavailable, you don’t have Shubman Gill and now they are saying that Rohit Sharma is also not there. I mean what is happening? Should we cancel IND vs SA?” Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

“Rohit Sharma is going to be a huge miss. If his tour is in doubt, India’s chances are looking in doubt because who was your best Test batter in 2021. Why did you do well in England – Rohit was there with Rahul. Rohit has started loving Test cricket and he is enjoying leaving or defending,” he added.

On 13th December, it was announced that Rohit Sharma also been injured and he will not feature in the all-important IND vs SA Test series. It is a huge blow for Team India as Rohit Sharma has been their best batsman in the past year and his absence at the top will be a huge advantage for the hosts.
