INDIA REFUSES TO TRAVEL TO PAKISTAN

India’s matches in the World Cup are being hosted by UAE. Other matches are however being played in Pakistan but India has refused to travel to Pakistan. Now India will face Nepal to play the last match in the group stage.

This is the 5th edition of the Blind World Cup which features 6 teams. These teams include Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Australia and Sri Lanka. The tournament will conclude on January 21 and India are the defending champions. This tournament is hosted by World Blind Cricket Council and the matches are of 40 overs and not 50, unlike the mainstream cricket.

At first, Pakistan was decided to host the World Cup but then later even the United Arab Emirates agreed to host a part of the Blind World Cup. UAE was urged to host India’s matches after Ministry Of External Affairs, India denied the Indian team’s visit to Pakistan.
