India vs Australi 2017: India and Australia will play the third match of the ongoing 4-match Test series at the JSCA stadium in Ranchi. The series is levelled 1-1 and both the team will look to take the lead by winning the all-important Test. Australia have done well in the series so far but the momentum is with India after their thrilling victory in the second Test at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.
The India-Australia match will begin on March 16, and unlike the previous two matches, the Ranchi encounter is expected to last all five days. JSCA’s pitch curator SB Singh has said that he has prepared a very balanced pitch and the match is expected to last all five days.
But the India-Australia 3rd Test match will not see Jharkhand’s greatest son MS Dhoni in the stands. Jharkhand’s team manager PN Singh revealed this in an interview.
“Our team arrived in Delhi and Dhoni is flying in a day later. We have a knockout match against Vidarbha on 15th and a semifinal on 17th. We are confident of reaching the semifinal in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and hence Dhoni’s presence at the Ranchi stadium is “unlikely”, PN Singh was quoted as saying in various news reports.
