Ravindra Jadeja bowled a double-bouncer to Peter Handscomb in the first innings of the ongoing Test against Australia in Pune. Ravindra Jadeja aka Jaddu is one of the best spinners in world cricket and he is a very tricky bowler to face in the Asian conditions.
In the latest ICC Test ranking, Ravindra Jadeja is the number 2 bowler in the world, just one position below his spin-twin Ravichandran Ashwin, who is world’s number 1 in Test cricket.
Jadeja is mostly is a very consistent bowler and he keeps things very tight in the middle. But, in his 16th over, Jadeja bowled a double-bouncer that looked very funny. Jadeja’s arm got stuck and he couldn’t release the ball the way he wanted to. As a result, the bowled pitched halfway down the wicket and bounced twice before reaching Peter Handscomb.
Peter Handscomb tried to hit the ball through covers but completely missed it and this made things even more funny. From commentators to players on the field, everybody found it funny and now it will be recalled every time an Indian bowler bowls a double bouncer. Watch it here:
