India’s tour of West Indies 2017 was a mixed bag as the touring nation won the ODI series 3-1 and lost the one-off T20I. India were expected to remain unbeaten in the entire tour but in the end, the hots nation managed to win 2 out of 5 completed games; one ODI and one T20I.

Kuldeep Yadav Back in Action
He is always brilliant with his skills whenever he comes out playing. The chinaman bowler did a phenomenal job by picking 8 wickets in 4 completed ODIs at an average of 19.75. His economy rate, which stood at 4.05 was very impressive as well. Gaye to gave away to his mystery bowling last night at Sabina Park and the captain must be impressed.
Ajinkya Rahane’s consistency at the top of the order
Rahane doesnt enjoy a fixed position in the OD side. With Rohit Sharma rested, Rahane got a chance to play a full series as an opener. He began well by scoring a solid 62 and went on to post scores of 102, 72, 60 and 39 to finish the series with 336 runs at 67.20.
Dinesh Karthik making his chances count
After not being able to play in the iCC Champions Trophy 2017, Karthik was summoned for the ODI series. In the ODI series, he failed in the first match but scored an unbeaten 50 in his second innings. However, his best came in the one-off T20I. Karthik scored 48 runs and kept the momentum going.
Hardik Pandya’s Bowling skills
He has always proves himself with ball and bat. Though he had problem with leaking runs by his bowling earlier he bowled smartly to finish the series with 6 wickets from 4 innings. His economy rate of 4.22 was much lower than his career’s 5.45.
Mohammed Shami’s Comeback
Mohammed Shami spent two years out of the ODI side but it didn’t look like when he took the field and bowled fast and consistent. He swung the ball both ways and troubled the Windies batsmen with his fast bowling, in the opening overs with the new ball and with his reverse swing in the later overs.
