List Of Indian Bowlers Who Have Taken More Than 100 Test Wickets At Home: Indian senior pacer Umesh Yadav stole the show with his stellar performance against Australia on the 2nd day of the ongoing 3rd Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Not just he ran over the talented batting line-up of Australia but he also added another feather to his illustrious cap.

Umesh Yadav became the fastest Indian pacer to pick 100 Test wickets at home on Thursday.

Umesh dismissed Mitchell Starc in the 74th over of the game and entered the elite list of players who have picked 100 plus Test wickets at home.

Yadav, who has featured in a total of 55 Tests for India as of now, has truly been stupendous in Indian conditions. It took 4,652 balls for Umesh Yadav to complete 100 Test scalps in India, making him only the 5th Indian pacer and only the 13th Indian bowler to take 100 Test wickets at home. He is also the fastest to reach the milestone.

Yadav completed 100 Test wickets at home in 31 matches and at an impressive average of 24.53. This tally includes two fifers and a match 10-wicket haul as well.

List of Indian pacers to take 100 plus Test wickets at home:

– Kapil Dev – 219 wickets
– Javagal Srinath – 108 wickets
– Zaheer Khan – 104 wickets
– Ishant Sharma – 104 wickets
– Umesh Yadav – 101 wickets

Yadav’s bowling average at home is the best among the lot.

Talking about the ongoing game, Umesh claimed figures worth 3/12 in just five overs as Australia’s first innings ended at 197. With the sensational performance by Umesh and other Indian bowlers, the Indian cricket team was able to make a great comeback in the ongoing 3rd Test match against Australia.

India is 2-0 up and is eyeing to seal the series with a win in Indore.
