In the world of cricket, fans get to see the intense and competitive side only of their favourite sportsmen. They connect with the way they work hard and perform for the national side and are always looking for them to perform well. However, with the influx of social media, players have begun sharing parts of their personal lives too and they too, love to de-stress with their pets back home.

Here are some of the most popular Indian cricketers and their pets:

MS Dhoni:

Dhoni is famously known to be a big fan of dogs and pets in general and he credits them with helping him de-stress whenever he is under pressure or after a long series. His limited social media activity does show him playing with his dogs back home in Jharkhand and he quipped about his dogs once by saying, “I have three pet dogs at home. Even after losing or winning a series, they treat me the same way.”

He has three dogs – A German Shepherd named Sara, a Labrador named Zara and a Weimaraner named Zoya.

Virat Kohli:

The Indian captain is very active on social media and his Instagram has many images and videos of him playing with his pet Beagle named Bruno back home. He clearly loves his dog to bits and is always talking about how he is the best stress buster for him.

Kohli’s love for dogs has made him adopt 15 stray puppies and he is responsible for ensuring that they are well taken care of at all times.

KL Rahul:

KL Rahul is the owner of a very rare breed of dogs known as the Chow chow. They require a lot of maintenance but Rahul ensures that his Simba is well taken care of. His social media has a lot of pictures with Simba.

Chow Chows are famous for having blue or purple tongues and Rahul is always making sure his dog is kept happy.

Ravindra Jadeja:

Indian Cricketers And Their Darling Pets

Jadeja is a Rajput boy who has his own set of animals back in his farmhouse. The total cost of all these animals – Horses, dogs, rabbits, pigeons and fish would cost around 3 to 4 lakh a month to take care of but Jadeja pays special attention to their needs.

His latest addition is a horse named Vaari whom he loves to ride on to explore the lush green fields that surround his farm house.

Sachin Tendulkar:

Indian Cricketers And Their Darling Pets

Sachin is the proud owner of two St. Bernard dogs whom he has taken back to Manali on his many holidays. He posted the pictures of his pets on social media and the whole world fell in love with his buddies.

The God of cricket has claimed to have always had a soft side for pets and he makes sure that his are well taken care of.
