Young Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh was brutally trolled and criticized by fans across the social media platforms following his drop against Pakistan. However, the young talent proved his mettle with another spirited performance against Sri Lanka, as he almost pulled off an unlikely victory for the Indian cricket team in the last over thriller.
In the game against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, Arshdeep Singh was given a big responsibility to defend only 7 runs in the final over and he almost took the game to the final ball before Sri Lanka went past the target to register their second win of the Super 4. Though, Arshdeep did a commendable job in the last over with his bowling variations, trying to save those 7 runs, however, Lankan batters got better off him.
While the entire cricket fraternity came out in support of Arshdeep Singh against the deplorable behavior by the trolls on social media, some people are still calling him out for costing India big games.

Well, an ugly incident took place when the right-arm pacer was boarding the team bus after the game, a fan hurled abuse at him regarding the drop catch against Pakistan’s Asif Ali. Arshdeep stopped and gave the fan a proper staredown before making his way to the back of the bus.
However, that’s not it, Vimal Kumar, a renowned Indian journalist, who witnessed the unpleasant behavior of the fan towards a national cricketer, gave him the much-deserving telling off and also got him to apologize for abusing the cricketer and crossing his lines.
The video of the same has gone crazily viral across all social media platforms. Watch the video:
