Rohit Sharma Insulted Arshdeep Singh During The SL Game

India’s young and talented bowler Arshdeep Singh has gone through a lot in the last three-four days. He got trolled left, right, and center on social media for dropping a crucial catch in a game against Pakistan, which proved to be a game-tilting moment. He dropped Pakistan’s Asif Ali’s catch in the 18th over of the match, which proved to be costly for India as Asif nearly finished off the game in the next over. However, Arshdeep showed incredible grit as he dismissed the Pakistan batter in the last over and he almost won the game for India but it wasn’t enough.

The Indian cricket team suffered their second consecutive defeat in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 as they lost to Sri Lanka in the last-over thriller on Tuesday. India’s chances of qualifying for the final summit clash of Asia Cup 2022 are now blurry and once again Arshdeep found himself at the receiving end of criticism.

Now in the game against Sri Lanka, Arshdeep was given a big responsibility in the last over with only 6 to defend. Senior and experienced batter Bhuvneshwar Kumar leaked runs in the 19th over to make the game slip away from India’s hands. Arshdeep was given a big task as he had to deal with Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka and Bhanuka Rajapaksa with them needing only 7 runs off 6 balls.

Arshdeep produced four consecutive yorkers resulting in five runs and then beat the ball in the 5th delivery, however, only to add more to the misery, India’s keeper Rishabh Pant and Arshdeep himself missed the stumps on both ends as Sri Lanka took double to win the match.

 While there were many who praised Arshdeep for showing nerves of steel as he nailed his yorkers and nearly pulled off a miracle, however, a video if Indian captain Rohit Sharma has gone crazily viral on social media, where he can be seen almost turning his back on Arshdeep when the youngster appeared to suggest something to his captain.

Well, the video hasn’t gone down well with the fans, who are now slamming Rohit Sharma for his behavior with a youngster. Fans reacted angrily to the video as many felt Rohit left his bowler alone in a tricky situation. There were many who compared him to the former captains Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni.
