List Of Players From Each IPL Franchise Who Got Selected For Asia Cup 2023

India captain Rohit Sharma and the chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar announced India’s 17-man squad for the Asia Cup 2023, which will kick-start on August 30.

The 6-team tournament will be played across four cities in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, with the final slated for September 17 in Colombo.

India named a 17-member squad for the continental tournament. Wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul and the number 4 incumbent Shreyas Iyer returned to the fold from their respective injuries, and so do Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna, the fast-bowling pair having recently marked their comeback in the T20Is in Ireland.

Tilak Varma got his maiden ODI call-up just a month away from the World Cup 2023. Suryakumar Yadav was retained in the ODI squad, while Sanju Samson was pushed out of the 17-man squad. Samson will travel to Sri Lanka as a reserve wicket-keeper, a backup for KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan.
