IPL 10: Mayank Agarwal will play for Rising Pune Supergiants

Rising Pune Supergiants have bought Mayank Agarwal from Delhi Daredevils for the ninth seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mayank had a forgettable 2016 season, in which he played only three matches for Delhi Daredevils and scored 9, 10 and 8 at an average of 9. Overall, Agarwal scored 355 runs for Delhi in 21 matches at an average of 17.75, including 2 fifties.

But, Mayank Agarwal was one of the best batsmen in Karnataka Premier League (KPL). In KPL, Agarwal scored 414 runs at a staggering average of 103.50 along with an impressive strike rate of 172.50. Batting for Belagavi Panthers, Mayank scored 1 hundred and 3 fifties in the tournament. He is a very attacking batsman who likes to keep things going right from the word go. Agarwal played for Royal Challengers Bangalore from 2011 to 2013.

Rising Pune Supergiants made this move just one day before the last date of the inter-franchise window. Pune also had a forgettable first season last year, which was also their debut season. Pune, led by MS Dhoni, finished second last in the points table in IPL 2016.
