1. Ben Cutting (SRH) – 117m vs RCB

In the 20h overs of the final match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, when Sunrisers Hyderabad were trying to post a total of 200 runs, Ben Cutting bashed Shane Watson’s second ball which was a full toss out of the park for a 117 meter six which turned out be the longest six of IPL 2016. He also scored 23 runs from that over of Shane Watson and that helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to take an extra advantage over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a highly tensed encounter.

2. AB de Villiers (RCB) – 109m vs SRH

It is quite obvious that AB de Villiers is present in this list because he has hit 37 sixes from 16 innings in IPL 2016, the second most after Virat Kohli. Out of these 37 sixes, he hit his longest six in one of the league matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad and that was of 109 meters.

3. Shane Watson (RCB) – 109m vs RPS

Shane Watson hit Rajat Bhatia for a gigantic 109 meter six in the 15th over of run chase against Rising Pune Supergiants in one of the league matches. He hit 36 runs from 13 balls that day and helped his team to chase a target of 191 with Virat Kohli and RCB won that encounter by 7 wickets.

4. Sanju Samson (DD) – 108m vs MI

This six of 108 meters from Sanju Samson’s bat came against the bowling off India’s one of the best off-spinners – Harbhajan Singh in the 12th over of the match against Mumbai Indians. He hit this mighty six over long on boundary and that proved this youngman’s six hitting ability.

5. Glenn Maxwell (KXIP) – 108m vs RPS

We all know the battle between Glenn Maxwell and Ravi Ashwin and this time around Maxwell edged out Ashwin by hitting a long six of 108 meters over the long on boundary. He hit a brilliant knock of 32 runs from just 14 balls and helped his team to chase a target of 152 runs which was set by Rising Pune Supergiants.
