IPL 2016: Pandya Brothers have created a new IPL record

Hardik Pandya made an explosive start to his international career in the T20 series against Australia in Australia. He was also very impressive in the following series and also the ICC World T20 2016. Although, Hardik Pandya hasn’t played any match-winning innings yet, many believe that he can be the all-rounder India have been looking for from past so many years.

Pandya plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and interestingly, his brother Krunal Pandya, who is also an all-rounder, plays for the same franchise.

When Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya shared the crease in 17th over in the match  against SunrRisers Hyderabad on April 18, it was the first in the Indian Premier League (IPL) that two brothers were  batting together at the crease. However, they only managed to get 12 runs in 10 balls. Pandya brother batted together again in the match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), when Hardik joined Krunal for the last ball of the innings.
