Deepak Chahar, who was ruled out of IPL 2022 due to multiple injuries, has suffered an even bigger blow as his back injury, which he, unfortunately, picked at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), has turned out to be a big one and he will, as per media reports, be out of action for at least 4 months.

Times of India have reported that as per the latest scans, Deepak Chahar will be ruled out at least for 4 months, and this has sent a huge shockwave among Indian Cricket fans. This happened when Chahar was working hard on recovering  from his quadriceps tear. He was working very hard to make a comeback to IPL 2022 and join the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad.

Deepak Chahar is a very important member of the CSK squad and his injury will definitely be a massive blow for the franchise. But, if we look at the bigger picture, it is also a huge for the Indian Cricket Team, as he will almost likely miss the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 as well.

Although, we are hoping that Deepak Chahar will recover well in time to make it to India Cricket Team’s T20 World Cup 2022 squad, but back injuries usually take a lot of time and he will miss a lot of cricket leading to the T20 World Cup.

Chahar is one of the best fast bowlers in India and he is also a very useful lower-order batsman who can score quick runs at the end of the innings.

We are hoping that he recovers quickly from his back injury and get back on the field. Back injuries are always very scary for fast bowlers and they usually take a lot of time to heal. The Cricket Lounge team hopes and prays that Deepak Chahar comes out even stronger from this setback.
