IPL 2022: Yuzvendra Chahal Wrote A Special Tweet For Kuldeep Yadav

Delhi Capitals (DC) left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav made a sensational comeback in match number two of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. The ongoing second match of the IPL 2022 is being played between Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, March 27.

Kuldeep Yadav, who was an integral part of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, was released ahead of the IPL 2022 mega-auctions. He was later roped in by Delhi Capitals at the mega-auctions for INR 2 crore after an intense bidding war with Punjab Kings.

The 28-year-old player was going through a rough patch in his career, because of which he was sidelined from the Indian national cricket team as well. However, the ongoing match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians witnessed Kuldeep Yadav making a remarkable return to his form.

Yadav picked up the first wicket for his team by dismissing the big fish — Hitman Sharma in the 9th over. Rohit Sharma had to walk back to the pavilion after scoring 41 runs off 32 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Following this, Yadav picked up his second wicket by dismissing Anmolpreet Singh for 8 in the 11th over.

The Chinaman wasn’t done yet as he struck once again and this time he sent back explosive batter Kieron Pollard on the 5th ball of the 16th over. Pollard was only able to score 3 runs off 6 balls before he was dismissed.

Kuldeep Yadav finished his4 overs quota with 3 wickets under his name for just 18 runs, whereas other Delhi Capitals bowlers like Axar Patel gave away 40 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left in awe of the sensational spinner as he marked his comeback. From cricketers, experts to fans, everyone lauded his revival in the ongoing game. Among many, Indian and Rajasthan Royals’ bowler Yuzvendra Chahal also took to Twitter and praised his performance.

For the unversed, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal share a great bond of friendship with each other and are fondly called “kulcha” or the ‘spin-twins of team India’.
