DC Owner Parth Jindal Slammed David Warner’s Side For Poor Performance: Delhi Capitals have had a nightmarish start to the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League as they have lost all three games they have played in the tournament so far. On Saturday, they produced another disappointing performance and got thrashed by 57 runs at the hands of Rajasthan Royals.
Delhi Capitals looked absolutely clueless

After being put in to bat first by Delhi Capitals captain David Warner, Rajasthan Royals posted a gigantic first innings total of 199/4. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal top scored with knocks of 79 and 60. Delhi Capitals bowlers looked absolutely clueless and went for a lot of runs.
Later, while attempting to reach the target of 200, the Capitals were bowled out for 142/9. Except for the captain, David Warner, no other batsman was able to stay at the crease until being dismissed for small numbers.
Parth Jindal Slammed DC
As DC suffered their third consecutive defeat of the season, the franchise’s owner, Parth Jindal, didn’t hold back as he called out the team’s lack of intent with the bat in some hard-hitting criticism. He took to his Twitter and slammed the team for their poor performance and backed them for a strong comeback. He wrote:
“3 games, 3 losses – very tough to see this @DelhiCapitals – not enough intent with the bat and execution lacking in some areas in the field – we have the belief in this bunch – let’s regroup and start fresh from Tuesday – I believe in this team. Come on Delhi!,”

Meanwhile, Delhi’s coach Ricky Ponting has hinted at doing some major changes in the team. Speaking at the post-match presentation, Ponting said: “We are a long way off right now and I can’t put my finger on why. If I watch these boys train and prepare, their work has been really good but it hasn’t just come across as any results yet on the field. So if I could put my finger on it, I would change it”
He added: “We have to think about players we are putting on the ground as what we have put in hasn’t worked, as a coaching group we will talk with our captain and take a call”
