Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli played a scintillating knock in a game against SunRisers Hyderabad. The former captain of the Bangalore side helped the team to register an eight-wicket win in the game.
Kohli Played A Stunning Knock
Kohli walked out to open the innings along with Faf du Plessis and together the duo took the game by storm. Virat was in a different mood last night as he attacked the SRH’s bowlers from the word go. He showcased his batting prowess and registered his sixth hundred in the Indian Premier League, which is the most in IPL history.
He brought his century in style with a stunning six over deep mid-wicket, inducing a loud roar from the crowd at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium before Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed him off the very next delivery. In an innings that lasted for 63 deliveries, Kohli smashed 12 fours and 4 stunning sixes.
It was a sheer joy for the fans to witness King Kohli in full form as he smashed the SRH bowlers to the ground.

Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Virat said that hitting a ton in a crucial game was quite special. He said:
“Quite special considering the magnitude of the game. Thought SRH got a very good score. Ball was gripping as well. Faf’s been on a different level. I’ve had a quiet couple of games. The way I was hitting in the nets wasn’t transitioning into the middle.”
Further, Kohli said that he never looks at his past records against any team whether they are strong or weak. He said:
Never look at past records (not great numbers against SRH). I put myself under so much stress already. I don’t care what anyone says on the outside. I’ve never been a guy who plays so many fancy shots. It’s Test cricket (coming up) after the IPL. have to stay true to my technique,”
