Suresh Raina Wrote A Special Tweet After CSK’s Win Against MI: Chennai Super Kings thrashed Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 12th match of IPL 2023 by 7 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. MS Dhoni-led men chased down the target of 158 runs in 18.1 overs to register their second win of the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League.

As the game kickstarted, CSK captain Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first. Though, Rohit Sharma and his men started the game on a positive note with Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan taking the attack to CSK’s bowling, which was hampered by an injury to CSK’s star bowler Deepak Chahar.
However, soon Tushar Deshpande produced a peach of a delivery to dismiss Rohit Sharma for 21, giving a much-needed breakthrough to the team. Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers as he took 3 wickets in his 4-over spell & gave away 20 runs.
After Rohit’s dismissal, Ishan failed to make the most of his opportunity as he departed after making 32 runs in 21 balls to Ravindra Jadeja. Ishan was the first victim of Jadeja. Mitchell Santner got the big wicket for World No. 1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav, who failed yet another time in the ongoing season. All thanks to CSK’s superb bowling performance, MI was restricted to 158 on the board.
Later, while defending, MI got off to a great start as Jason Behrendorff dismissed Devon Conway for a duck in the first over. However, CSK’s debutant and India’s Test specialist Ajinkya Rahane took the game by storm as he played one of the most memorable knocks of his career.
