Shivam Dube maintained his impressive form in IPL 2024 by smashing a fifty off just 28 balls against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (April 14).
Shivam Dube, who is being considered for India’s T20 World Cup squad, showcased exceptional power-hitting skills, sparking wild excitement among fans both inside and outside the stadium. The 30-year-old hammered seven boundaries and two sixes on his way to achieving his second fifty of the current IPL 2024 season.

In the tenth over, the 30-year-old struck three fours off Hardik Pandya’s bowling. He followed up with two boundaries in the next over-delivered by Romario Shepherd. However, it was in the 14th over that Shivam Dube truly unleashed his power.
After CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad took a single off the first delivery, Dube smashed back-to-back sixes on the second and third deliveries. He then added a four on the fourth ball and concluded the over with another boundary through backward point.

Shivam Dube has been in excellent form since the beginning of the tournament. He scored an unbeaten 34 in the opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), followed by 51 against Gujarat Titans (GT), 18 against Delhi Capitals (DC), 45 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and added another 28 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Shivam Dube ended his knock with an unbeaten 66 runs off 38 balls. The knock was laced with 10 fours and two sixes.
