He also speculated on the auction, suggesting that released all-rounder Shahrukh Khan might engage in a competitive bidding war, with a potential price range between INR 10 and 14 crores.
In his predictions, Ashwin indicated that bids for Rachin Ravindra could fall in the range of INR 4 to 7 crores. For pacer Harshal Patel, he anticipated bids between INR 7 and 10 crores, placing Gerald Coetzee in the same bracket as Harshal. Ashwin’s expectations for Rovman Powell suggested a bidding range of INR 4 to 7 crores.
Ashwin’s surprising prediction was for World Cup hero Travis Head, whom he believes may not receive a bid higher than INR 4 crores. On the other hand, he anticipated a higher amount for veteran India fast bowler Umesh Yadav, expecting bids in the range of INR 4 to 7 crores.
