Now, PTI is reporting that Wasim Jaffer, the former Indian opener, has decided to step down from his role as the batting coach of the Punjab Kings ahead of the IPL 2024. Sanjay Bangar, who was the Director of Cricket for the Punjab Kings, will be the new batting consultant for PBKS. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan will again lead the Punjab Kings in the IPL in 2024.

Punjab Kings haven’t won the IPL since its inception in 2008. They reached the final of the tournament in IPL 2024. However, they lost the final against Gautam Gmabhir’s Kolkata Knight Riders. PBKS have done all that they can, from changing personnel to changing the name of the franchise. However, they have not found luck on their side to win the IPL. They will give their best and have huge pressure on them to win the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
It remains to be seen if they can turn their fortunes in the upcoming season. PBKS fans will be desperately hoping for their team to do the unimaginable.
