Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who was a part of the Hindi Commentary Team for the official broadcasters of the World Cup 2023, took to his social media and shared his Team of the tournament.
Irfan Pathan took to his social media, on November 20th, and named his Team of the tournament, picking a 12-man squad, consisting of some of the best-performing players in the tournament.
Irfan Pathan picked Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock as his openers. He then picked Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli as his number 3 player. Notably, Virat won the ‘Player of the Tournament’ award as he emerged as the highest run-scorer with 765 runs. New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra and Australia’s Glenn Maxwell were picked as two spin-bowling all-rounders in the squad.

Ravindra Jadeja had an amazing tournament as he amassed 578 runs in 10 games.
