Chennai Super Kings chose to bat first, scoring a strong 206/6 in their 20 overs, thanks to Shivam Dube’s quick half-century and solid contributions from openers Rachin Ravindra and Ruturaj Gaikwad.

In response, Gujarat Titans struggled, ending at 143/8. Sai Sudharsan top-scored with 37 runs, but CSK’s bowlers, led by Deepak Chahar, Mustafizur Rahman, and Tushar Deshpande, restricted GT effectively, each claiming two wickets.

During the match, both MS Dhoni and Ajinkya Rahane showcased exceptional catching skills. MS Dhoni’s catch was the first highlight of the game. In the eighth over, he executed a remarkable full-length dive to his right side while airborne to dismiss Vijay Shankar.

In the 12th over, Rahane showcased his brilliance by dismissing David Miller with a stunning catch. Miller struck a powerful shot towards deep mid-wicket, and Rahane dived forward to complete an exceptional catch. Following the game, Irfan Pathan expressed his preference for Rahane’s catch over Dhoni’s, asking his followers: “Would you choose Dhoni’s catch or Rahane’s? My pick is Rahane, yours?”
