An Australian website, News.com.au, recently ran a poll titled “Who Is The Biggest Jerk Of The Week?” for the last week of 2014.

India’s newly-appointed Test captain Virat Kohli is No. 2 in this list with 932 votes at the time of publishing this article.

Virat Kohli is known for his aggressive attitude on the field and he has been involved in many on-field spats during the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2014-15. Kohli targeted Australia’s ace fast bowler Mitchell Johnson and said, “I don’t respect Mitchell Johnson.” After this, Australian team criticized Kohli and attacked him in every press conference after this.

“Virat Kohli became public enemy No. 1 in Australia when he engaged the Aussies in a series of verbal stoushes on the pitch during the first three Tests. But he drew particular attention for his treatment of Brad Haddin, whom he shadowed uncomfortably closely while the Australian captain attempted to mark middle stump after coming out to bat in the third Test,” News.com.au wrote this as Virat Kohli’s introduction for this poll.
