A hilarious training session video between Jasprit Bumrah and Kieron Pollard, two Mumbai Indians stalwarts, has gone viral, and both the MI cricketers also trolled each other on Instagram.
The franchise uploaded the video on the occasion of Friendship Day. This video is from a practice from the goneby season where both the superstar MI cricketers had a go at each; the West Indies batter looking to smash every ball out of the park while the Indian seamer showing his accuracy and pace.
At the start of the video, before the lanky West Indian gets ready to bat, the admin asks Pollard about his banter with Bumrah, to which Pollard says that he will tease the seamer and will know exactly what will be Bumrah’s responses, with the lip and with the ball.
The duo then proceed to have an intense cricketing battle but have a comical go at each other after each of the 9 delivery face-off.
Few Pollard manage to hit well, which he claimed were fours but Bumrah didn’t agree. On most, though, it was the speedster who looked to have an upper hand, nailing his yorkers outside the off-stump; Pollard even challenged Bumrah amusingly to bowl him out with a yorker, but Bumrah was more focussed on keeping things tight outside the off-stump.
“Friends who challenge you to bring out the best in you >>>>>>>>>,” the MI admin captioned the video. “Grab some [popcorn] and [watch] this 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 between great mates 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 तात्या and 𝐁OO𝐌”

Pollard, who is currently playing in The Hundred in England, took attention of this and tagged Bumrah in his Insta story. He hailed Bumrah as the number 1 bowler, before taking a dig at him, saying Bumrah is “Still searching…doesn’t want to come for the camera”
Jasprit Bumrah took gave an epic reply. In his Insta story, tagging Pollard, Bumrah wrote “We can clearly see I won. You had no review left”

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians had their worst IPL season in 2022 as they finished last in the 10-team tournament. They lost their first 8 matches, but bounced back to win 4 of the last 6 to take some positives.
