Jofra Archer Gave A Fitting Reply To Taslima Nasreen For Insulting Moeen Ali: Bangladesh’s writer Taslima Nasreen, who is famous for her controversial writings on criticism of religion and women’s oppression, has once again stirred controversy on social media. For her writings, Taslima has even received death threats, not just this, she even had to leave her country and had to adopt Swedish citizenship.
Recently, the author was at it again as she said some stern words about the England all-rounder – Moeen Ali.
Moeen Ali has been making a lot of news lately. The England all-rounder had recently asked his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings to remove a beer brand logo from his jersey, as per the reports. He was earlier part of the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2020, however, he was released from the franchise and was bought by CSK for IPL 2021.
Moeen Ali’s decision was welcomed with mixed reactions from the fans. While many praised the cricketer for sticking with his moral values, on other hand, many slammed the cricketer for the same.
In the meantime, Nasreen took to her social media and created a controversy with her insulting tweet for Moeen Ali. She wrote:
“If Moeen Ali were not stuck with cricket, he would have gone to Syria to join ISIS.”

The tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from the cricket fans on it. Fans are brutally trolling the Bangladeshi author for her distasteful tweets against the star cricketer. Backing Moeen Ali, fans are giving it back to Taslima and are schooling her for the same.

Nasreen defended her post on Moeen Ali, saying it was sarcastic and her haters are using it against her. She wrote:
“Haters know very well that my Moeen Ali tweet was sarcastic. But they made that an issue to humiliate me because I try to secularize Muslim society & I oppose Islamic fanaticism. One of the greatest tragedies of humankind is pro-women leftists support anti-women Islamists,”
Jofra took no time to respond back to the explanation as well. In his reply, he gave it back to Nasreen and wrote:
“Sarcastic? No one is laughing, not even yourself, the least you can do is delete the tweet,”
