The Mumbai Indians fans are keeping their fingers crossed for England pace sensation Jofra Archer to get completely fit and match ready in time for the IPL 2023, which is expected to kick-start in the last week of March.
Archer has had to deal with finger and elbow injury and following surgeries that have kept him out of high-level action since last April.
Despite knowing his injury status and the fact that he wouldn’t be playing in the IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians bought him for INR 8 crore in the IPL 2022 mega-auction, aiming to secure their fast bowling future and give their fans the dream fast bowling combination of Archer and Bumrah in IPL 2023.
Jofra Archer’s cryptic tweet draws all kinds of reactions

This 8-worded tweet perhaps would have been a personal remark or a professional comment too, or maybe Archer just opening up about what’s on his mind. This, though, unsettled fans who gave different kinds of reactions.
Here are the comments of fans on Archer’s weird tweet:
As a lifelong MI Fan & Paltan can tell you , the overwhelming majority of Mai fans don’t want you in IPL . Please focus on Red ball Jordan. Leave quietly & don’t come back 🙏🏾

England’s 2019 World Cup final Super over hero, Jofra Archer played his first professional game since July 2021 when he turned up for England Lions against England in a 3-day practice match and bowled 9 overs for 38 runs and 1 maiden.
“A small day but still a big day,” Archer said after his bowling in that match.
Archer’s comeback now is slated for January where he will play in the inaugural edition of the SA20 in South Africa for MI Cape Town. And then he is likely to feature in the ODI series in South Africa. Following this is a limited-overs tour of Bangladesh before the IPL 2023.
