Jofra Archer is furious with the Telegraph for putting out the news of his visit to Belgium and of getting a minor treatment done on his elbow during the early phase of the IPL 2023.
What was reported about Jofra Archer? And what did he say?

The Telegraph reported on Tuesday night that Jofra Archer had a “minor procedure” done in his right elbow, the same elbow that has been troubling him for over the past two years. It said that he had taken a brief time off during his stint with the Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL and paid a visit to his doctor in Belgium earlier this month.
The ECB confirmed to ESPNcricinfo on Wednesday morning that the fast bowler had been to see his specialist in Belgium “a few weeks ago”. He’s returned and is likely to participate in Mumbai’s next match, against Rajasthan Royals, on Sunday.
Archer took to Twitter to slam these reports and the news publication for running the story without his consent. He also said that such stories trouble the player mentally who is already going through a troubled state with his physical and still on his road to complete recovery.
“Putting out an article without knowing the facts & without my consent is crazy,” Jofra Archer tweeted, adding, “Who ever the reporter is shame on you , an already worrying and troubling time for a player and you exploit it for your personal gain, it’s people like you that are the problem “

Meanwhile, the England fast bowler has played in only 2 matches out of the 7 MI have played so far in the IPL 2023. He featured in the first match against RCB, then missed 4 matches to what Mark Boucher said was a “little niggle” before returning for the Punjab Kings game. He missed Tuesday’s clash against Gujarat Titans, but is expected to be available for the upcoming match against Rajasthan.
In 2 matches, Archer has one wicket to show and has conceded 75 runs. Lack of consistent playing time seems to have hurt his economy rate.
