Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli smashed his 32nd half-century on Sunday, September 4 as he continued his brilliant run in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Asia Cup. Virat got off to his fifty with a stunning six in India’s Super-4 clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

It was the second consecutive fifty for Virat Kohli in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 as the former captain looked in fine touch ever since he returned back to international cricket after nearly a two-month break. Virat began with a crucial 34-ball 35 in India’s 5-wicket victory over Pakistan in the group stages. Virat smashed 3 stunning sixes and a boundary for his 44-ball 59 against Hong Kong earlier in the tournament.

In the Super 4 match against Pakistan, Virat smashed 60 from 44 balls as he helped the Indian side to post a total of 181 for 7 in the end of 20 overs. His knock was laced with 4 boundaries and a six, where he anchored the Indian innings. Despite wickets falling at regular intervals at the other end, Kohli held the fort and held the innings till the final over. However, Virat couldn’t get going in the final over, playing 3 dot balls. He was eventually run out for 60 as he tried to retain the strike in the final over while batting with lower-order batter Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the other end.

Meanwhile, social media has been buzzing with amazing reactions, hailing the brilliant comeback made by Virat Kohli. From fans and celebrities to cricketers, everyone took to social media and showered praises on King Kohli for his stellar knock. Among many, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan also joined the bandwagon and celebrated the knock of Virat with a special tweet. He wrote:

“Solid knock  @imVkohli 👏 👏  #INDvsPAK 👏👏”
