Kevin Pietersen Wrote The Most Smashing Tweet After Rishabh Pant Played A Freak Shot: Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been receiving praises from all corners for the terrific shot he played off Jofra Archer’s delivery in the first T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Though the Indian cricket team was thrashed by England cricketers, however, Pant won everyone’s heart with his brilliant shot.
The stunning shot came on the 5th ball of the 4th over of India’s innings, when Rishabh Pant made everyone sit on the edge as he smashed Jofra Archer off a stunning reverse swing for a six.
What left everyone stunned was the fact that the fast delivery of Jofra was around 141 km/h. The delivery pitched on the leg stump and he smashed the ball over the slips and ropes to hit the first six of India’s innings.

Meanwhile, as soon as Rishabh smashed the stunning six, fans and cricket fraternity went berserk and flooded with amazing reactions to the terrific shot. Several cricketers including the likes of Yuvraj Singh, VVS Laxman, and many others, took to their social media and applauded Pant for his fearless shot.
Among many, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen also took to his social media and shared a special tweet for Rishabh. In his tweet, KP hailed Pant for playing the ‘greatest shot’ ever. He wrote:
“Holy smokes! Pant has just played the greatest shot that’s ever been played in cricket. Reverse sweeping/lifting Archer with a brand new white ball at 90mph for 6.”
