India’s Ravichandran Ashwin is the number all-rounder in the world as per the latest ICC Test rankings for all-rounders. Ashwin, who is also the number 1 Test bowler in the world, had a fantastic 2016 and he was India’s best bowler and played match-winning innings with the bat as well. In the recently concluded Test series against England, Ashwin was the leading wicket taker for India and made many valuable contributions with the bat in the five-match Test series, which India won 4-0. Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan is at number 2 position with 405 points.
There is one more Indian all-rounder in this list, at number 3 position. Ashwin’s spin partner Ravindra Jadeja worked hard on his batting and scored runs for India down the order.
