22 year old pace machine from South Africa, Kagiso Rabada owing to his impressive figures against the second test of the two match series against Bangladesh moved to his career best rankings in the latest ICC Test Rankings. In the ICC test rankings released on 11th October Rabada moved up two places in the list and now he stands at the third place.
While Jimmy Anderson, the handsome English bowler is at the pinnacle India’s Sir Jadeja is at the second spot followed by Kagiso Rabada who is now 20 points and 8 points behind them respectively. The South African young gun jumped places as he claimed 876 points in the rankings and pushed down the carom bowl specialist, R Ashwin (852 points) from India and the veteran Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath (833 points. Rangana Herath, 5th in the list is followed by Josh Hazlewood (Australia), Nathan Lyon (Australia), Dale Steyn (South Africa), Neil Wagner and Stuart Broad (England) in the top 10 in the order as stated.
LOKESH RAHUL AND RAHANE MOVE UP ONE SPOT EACH
India has not donned the white jersey in a while now. India has hardly played any tests in this home season yet Lokesh Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane managed to move up in the list by one place each. Rahul is now 8th in the list followed by his teammate Rahane.
Cheteshwar Pujara is at the 4th spot while captain Kohli at the 6th position in the tally. On top of the list is the Aussie skipper Steve Smith followed by Joe Root and Kane Williamson. 5th in the list is David Warner followed by Kohli and the next being the metaphor to consistency, Hashim Amla at the 7th spot. Last in the top 10 is Azhar Ali from Pakistan.
