LSG vs PBKS: 21-Year-Old Mayank Yadav Leaves Fans Stunned With 155 KPH Speed

Lucknow Super Giants pacer Mayank Yadav took the internet by storm, stunning the fans and the Punjab Kings batters with his extremely high pace.

While fans have been upset about the downfall of Umran Malik since last year, they have got a new youngster who could clock speeds over 150 KPH to hitch their wagon on.

Aged 21, and hailing from Delhi, fast bowler Mayank Yadav was simply outstanding on his debut IPL game, against Punjab in Lucknow, where not only did he exhibit his high pace and speeds, but the youngster also showed that he has good control over his lines and lengths.

Yadav finished his four-over spell with figures of 3/27, his wickets including Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, and Jitesh Sharma. Not a single ball from the youngster was below 140 KPH. The fastest delivery was clocked at 155.8 KPH. Among Indian bowlers in the IPL, only Umran Malik had breached the 155 KPH barrier.

Coming into the IPL 2024, Mayank had experience of only 10 T20 matches, in which he took 12 wickets. He had been scouted by the LSG scouts, and the franchise picked him in the auction. They unleashed him in their second game of the season and the youngster returned their faith with impressive bowling performances.
