Recently, CSK via their official Instagram account teased their star Sri Lankan pacer Pathirana after he was pictured celebrating his wicket in a manner that resembled football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration.
For the unversed, Pathirana is often seen celebrating like Ronaldo after he picks up the opposition’s wickets. The young pacer had earlier revealed that he is a die-hard fan of the Portuguese superstar.
During a recent match against Delhi Capitals, legendary player MS Dhoni played a crucial cameo of 20 runs from just 9 balls to give CSK the much-needed momentum towards the end of their innings. He smashed two stunning sixes and a boundary off Khaleel Ahmed, before being dismissed by Mitchell Marsh in the last over. As Dhoni walked back to the pavilion, Pathirana appeared to be in the same position as if he was celebrating his wicket.
