SKY walked out to bat after the dismissal of big wicket Virat Kohli, however, he was bowled by Ashton Agar in the 36th over of India’s over. Agar delivered it in short and the ball kept low while skidding through. Surya cleared his front leg while trying to smash the ball but he was beaten entirely. In the first two ODI games, Yadav became the victim of Mitchell Starc’s bowling and was dismissed on a duck on both occasions. Now with the third golden duck, SKY registered an unwanted record of three consecutive golden ducks in the three-match ODI series against Australia.

With Shreyas Iyer out because of injury, this was the best time for SKY to grab the opportunity and seal a spot for himself in the ODI World Cup squad of India, however, he failed miserably to impress everyone as he was dismissed on the first ball in all the three games. Now the next ODI series will be in June-July and possibly Iyer would be fit by then to reclaim his place in the Indian playing XI.
