Michael Vaughan Took A Dig At Virat Kohli After Team India Win

Last updated:

Michael Vaughan trolled Virat: The Indian cricket team has been receiving praises from all corners after they gave a terrific performance and played like a team to thrash England cricketers in the 4th t20I match by 8 runs. While everyone is busy praising team India, former England skipper Michael Vaughan took this as an opportunity to troll the Indian skipper.

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has been making a lot of news these days with his remarks for the ongoing England tour of India. His main focus these days seems to be highlighting the mistakes that the team makes. However, he often finds himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling because of his insights and remarks, however, he has kept going.

With that being said, the former England skipper was at it once again. After the match last night, Vaughan took to his Twitter and decided to play ‘divide and rule’ with the Indian fans. In his tweet, he took a dig at the Indian skipper and praised him for allowing Rohit to take the charge. Vaughan referred to the rivalry between Rohit Sharma and Virat, in his tweet. He wrote:

Great captaincy from Virat … !! Allowing @ImRo45 to get involved & clearly his tactics work … #INDvENG”

Here, check out the Tweet:

For the unversed, during the game last night, Rohit Sharma took the charge of the stand-in skipper after the Indian skipper decided to remain off the pitch as if he had fatigue or a potential injury. However, in his absence, the 5-time IPL winner skipper Rohit stole the show and delivered good work as a skipper.

Since there has always been a debate on who is the better captain among the both, Vaughan tried to use this trick to troll the Indian skipper.

In no time the tweet went viral and was flooded with reactions from the fans. The tweet obviously didn’t go down well with the fans, who started trolling him left, right, and center for his remarks. There were many who trolled Vaughan by using hilarious memes and jokes.
